While solution dyed nylon is the ideal fiber for areas with both high traffic and frequent spills, most solution dyed nylons are heathered color blends, designed for offices and classrooms.  These yarns simply can't be fashioned into elegant carpet textures for upscale commercial interiors like luxury hospitality areas, condominium corridors, premium elder care facilities, boutiques and boardrooms.

We developed Ultrel^™ MemorySet™ solution dyed nylon to bring the performance benefits of solution dyed nylon to these upscale environments.  for areas where you need superior resistance to heavy traffic and frequent spills, but want luxurious carpet styles like twisted "saxony" cut pile, and cut-uncut textures.

Textile designers have long known:

the tighter a yarn is twisted the firmer its *hand*, and the tougher the resulting fabric.

Ultrel^™ MemorySet™ features a very tight twist- over 5 turns per inch - for carpet textures that are both durable and luxurious.

For cut pile textures, Ultrel^™ is treated with pressure, heat, and steam in our exclusive computer controlled MemorySet™ process.  Twisted yarns are processed near their glass transition temperature, to change the nylon's molecular alignment and so "memorize" the yarn's high twist shape.

Bio-pruf anti microbial is built into the nylon at the extrusion stage, for durable protection against odor causing germs, mildew and fungus stains and allergic reactions.  Ultrel^™ MemorySet's™  solution dyed color withstands the harsh solutions needed to safely clean and disinfect biological spills like blood and urine.
